A few checks before your session so the experience runs smoothly: the right device, an up-to-date browser, a stable connection, and a full-size screen.
The technology behind our experiences does not support cellphones. Use a computer (Windows, Mac, or Chromebook) or a tablet. A reliable high-speed internet connection and an up-to-date browser are recommended for the best experience. Check your device's compatibility here ↗.
Google Chrome is the recommended browser. If you use a different browser (Safari, Edge, Firefox), make sure it is updated to the latest version. You can check which browser and version you have at whatsmybrowser.org ↗.
Use a reliable, high-speed connection to avoid interruptions — a wired connection or strong Wi-Fi signal close to the router works best. Close unnecessary programs and browser tabs during the session. A download speed of around 50 Mbps is comfortable; you can test yours at speedtest.net ↗.
The platform requires a screen at least 1024 pixels wide. A computer or tablet may be cast or connected to a smart TV or projector, but if the original device is a cellphone, it will not work. Vertical (portrait) screens are not supported.
Run the experience in full-screen mode. If your window is not full size you may see a message saying your screen is too small — enlarge the window to full screen and the message will disappear.
The experiences include narration and survivor testimony, so make sure your sound is on. Headphones are recommended for individual viewing; for a classroom or group, connect the device to speakers.

Our live virtual tours are followed by a live Q&A session on Zoom. You do not need Zoom installed beforehand — the session also opens in the browser — but if you do have it installed, make sure it is updated before the tour begins.
Your access link is valid indefinitely before you begin. Once you first open it, the experience remains available for 72 hours and can be viewed multiple times during that period. Interactive experiences can be paused and resumed within the same window.
